Can recording be made impossible to stop?+
No. A phone can be switched off, destroyed or disconnected. The realistic promise is that every segment already received by the cloud remains protected, even if recording stops afterwards.
Is the time and location written onto the video?+
The viewing copy displays server time, coordinates and GPS accuracy. Pretorian also preserves the untouched original and signs the underlying metadata, because an on-screen label alone is not proof.
Will my location always be visible?+
No. You choose whether to share during a journey or only when an emergency alert is active. The purpose is protection, not surveillance.
Does Pretorian automatically contact the police?+
Not in the first version. Alerts go to the trusted contacts you select. Verified response-service integrations may be introduced country by country.
What happens when there is no network?+
Encrypted segments wait temporarily on the phone and upload when the connection returns. Anything already confirmed by the cloud remains available.
